Thunderful Group’s vision is to provide creative entertainment products of the highest quality for people of all ages.
Thunderful Games develops, publishes and sells games. The segment includes the group company Thunderful Development with game development teams assembled from the previously independent game studios Image & Form, Zoink and Guru Games. The segment also includes British game developer and publisher Coatsink Software Ltd.
The development strategy is based on high-quality single-player games, primarily for PC and console, that are developed in-house and that are rich in content and narrative. Thunderful Publishing publishes games developed internally and developed by other western game studios. Rising Star Games, founded in 2004, focuses on releasing outstanding Japanese game titles in the West.
Thunderful Distribution distributes and sells Nintendo products, games, gaming accessories and toys. The segment includes distributors Bergsala, Amo Toys and Nordic Game Supply. Bergsala distributes Nintendo's products in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Amo Toys and Nordic Game Supply are Nordic distributors of games, game accessories, merchandise and toys.
Although the Group's two segments share the same business strategy, they have their own models, operational activities, supplier agreements and financial profiles. In connection with the merger, the Group has carried out extensive work to strengthen and streamline the segments. Among other things, the merger means that functions such as administration, finance, IT and logistics have been centralized and streamlined.
